How we see real estate investments.
We continuously seek new acquisition opportunities in our target markets, with our strong and proficient deal-sourcing relationships that award us preferred access to available properties and portfolios in our select markets, often before they come to market. Our focus is concentrating on Class B/C apartment communities that will benefit from our value creation process and enhance our investment's net asset value, translating to investors' higher overall return.
Greyson's sourcing and screening parameters are strictly defined, but we also extend our investment scope where relevant to take advantage of market opportunities. Who is Greyson Capital Group?
Justin Richards
Justin Richards is a Principal at Greyson Capital Group. Justin has more than a decade of multifamily property experience with competencies spanning physical asset management and leasing, customer relations, and collections. Earlier real estate activities include commercial and residential construction.
While obtaining a B.S. degree from Michigan State University, Mr. Richards gained significant experience in low-voltage electrical work as a technician (and later upper management) within big box retailers and office parks nationally. Leveraging his in depth hands-on experience gained from multifamily professional work as an Assistant Manager at a 328 unit community, Mr. Richards formed Greyson Capital Group to take full advantage of the great opportunities in the growing space - in which Greyson Capital Group is based.
Scott Pollman
Scott Pollmann is a seasoned multifamily property investor with 8 years of experience in the field. His extensive expertise includes not only investing but also analyzing, purchasing, and working out mortgage notes. Prior to his successful real estate career, Scott spent 27 years as a high school and college science teacher, where he developed and honed his analytical skills, which have become invaluable in multifamily underwriting.
Scott's journey into the real estate sector began after nearly more than two decades of teaching, where his passion for science and meticulous attention to detail allowed him to thrive. These analytical skills, cultivated through years of educating students in complex scientific concepts, now serve as a cornerstone of his approach to multifamily property investment. His ability to assess properties thoroughly and accurately has led to successful acquisitions and profitable ventures.
In addition to his multifamily investments, Scott has a strong track record in the mortgage note industry. His comprehensive understanding of mortgage notes and his strategic approach to purchasing and working them out have resulted in significant returns and growth for his portfolio. Scott's commitment to excellence and his analytical prowess make him a respected figure in the multifamily investment community.
Dirk Dejonge
Dirk DeJonge was involved in multi-family from the start. His family was involved in developing, managing, and running of multi-family and commercial assets. Early on, he gained experience with labor, maintenance, and eventual property/asset management that expanded over time.
On his own, Dirk started with an engineering/technical focus and has since developed a successful IT sales career while simultaneously building a strong portfolio of real estate assets. He has focused efforts on acquisition and long-term holding and has expanded his portfolio to include commercial, multi-family, and short-term rental holdings covering multiple states. Dirk has also participated on both the LP and GP side of numerous projects giving him experience and perspective from various positions in deals.
Over this time, Dirk has had a strong focus on automating and streamlining processes operationally, creating savings, increasing profits allowing him to balance his time and continue to expand quickly.
Dirk’s most recent acquisition was a core plus downtown Grand Rapids, MI asset where they successfully had the property zoned for hotel space, allowing for short term rentals, in addition to the commercial and multi-family space the asset provided.
